Description:
The SKS is a semi-automatic carbine designed by Soviet small arms designer Sergei Gavrilovich Simonov in the 1940s. The SKS was manufactured at Tula Arsenal from 1949 to 1958. Spike bayonets were used on the 1949 Tula Russian SKS-45, as this one has a blade bayonet, it was made after 1949. Gas block design shows this one to be made 1952-1956. This one is new in the box, unfired, and in fastastic condition. There are a few small, shallow marks in the stock that can be seen in the pics. Also included in the original box, is the booklet, warranty card, sling, oil bottle & case, 3 stripper clips/cleaning kit and case. You just don't see these in this new in the box, unfired condition often.
*Don't miss out on this rare new in the box offering.*
