Smith & Wesson Model 1500 "Mountaineer" Deluxe Wood .243 Winchester

This Smith & Wesson Model 1500 Mountaineer is a bolt-action hunting rifle manufactured from 1983 to 1984. It features a blued finish, walnut stock, and is chambered in .243 Winchester. It is factory drilled and tapped.

Features of this Mountaineer version of the S & W 1500 include a 22" barrel, a rubber buttpad, and 18 lines per inch hand checkering on its deluxe wood stock. A Timney trigger was added by the previous owner.

This rifle is in outstanding condition. The deluxe wooden Monte Carlo stock has beautiful figure in the buttstock area. This stock is in excellent condition with very minimal handling marks. The finish presents beautifully, and the checkering is crisp. The rifle's bluing is also in  excellent condition. There are some minor handling marks on the aluminum trigger guard. The bore is shiny, and the rifling is crisp.

• US shipping only. If your item comes with a scope, we will detach it, package it separately, then include it in the shipped box unless specified otherwise by the purchaser. 
• Postage Costs include adult 21 yr old signature required fee to your FFL 01. 
• We will pay the shipping insurance for the amount sold.
• Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee. Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges above the $50 shipping fee that may occur with hard case shipping.
• Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
