"WWII Springfield M1D Garand Sniper Rifle .30-06 (L2026-06405)

"Serial no. 3130353. Manufactured September 1944 by Springfield Armory, chambered in .30-06 Springfield,24"" round barrel marked “9-S-A-12-43." The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The rifle was later converted to M1D sniper configuration. The stock remains in very good condition, showing minimal handling impressions, with two circle “P" proof cartouches noted on the wrist. The rifle is fitted with a brown leather cheek piece marked “MRT/5-52." Scope is marked “TELESCOPE/M48/SERIAL NO.15211, optics remain clear.
