#1198A  L. DEVENDORF CEDARVILLE NY PERCUSSION CIVIL WAR SNIPERS RIFLE, 45 cal., 29 1/4” heavy oct. bbl., stamped on top of bbl. “L. Devendorf Cedarville”, bbl. is 1 1/2” across breech, bullet starter, engraved back action lock as are all metal parts, SST, crescent buttplate, engraved trigger guard with spur, TD system with pin through front part of receiver to lock bbl. in place, no provision for forend, exc. wood, full length 33 1/4” scope marked “G.A. Kenyon”, also has open peep sight with hooded crosshair front sight, bullet mold, swage, powder dispensers, tools & bullets, extra swage marked “M.S. Ridley”, percussion caps, all cased in a period wooden case in exc. condition, bbl. retains about 98% finish, 40% casehardening on locks & metal parts, 20% blue on trigger guard, was in a collection of W. Masters in 1943 & then went to a NY collector, Milton D. Smith Cloud, weighs 16 1/2 lbs., lots of paper with history of rifle.  $9995
