Mauser K98 BYF 44 Kriegsmodell 8mm Zf 41 Sniper Rifle WWII GI Duffle Cut All Matching Numbers No Import Unfired and Nice!
Description: This is a Mauser made K98 Kriegsmodell 8mm sniper rifle that was made in January of 1945 in Germany during the last months of WWII. The bore is Mirror bright with deep rifling and the action is smooth and tight. The gun is all matching numbers on receiver and bolt and everything else inside and out right down to the matching firing pin. The gun is unfired since factory test fire by examination of the bore, bolt face, feed ramp and follower. Totally clean inside with no grit or powder residue or brass rubs. The stock is solid, never sanded and with deep and correct Mauser factory WaA135 waffenamt proofs and inspection marks. The gun is original blue with original phosphate finish bolt and floor plate. The duffle cut is clean and tight and is impossible to see without dissassembly. Sight leaf on the Zf 41 scope mount is also marked Eagle/135. I believe this was a Semi-Kriegsmoddel (with bayonet lug and cleaning rod) sniper rifle before the duffle cut making it a very scarce variation sniper rifle. No Zf 41 scope comes with the gun. They are easy to get original or repros. This gun is from my own collection of many years. It came to me from a older man from a local Masonic Lodge. It is a one family owner GI Bring back but I do not have papers to prove it. It is totally original and untouched as caputured. I am Oregon Lumberjack here and on the other big site. I am a FFL dealer in Connecticut for near 40 years. This Gun is guaranteed to make you very happy. Price: $3,795.00 Shipping: $75.00 Contact Seller |
