Synopsis:
Scarce and Desirable, Original & Matching, Swiss Military ZFK 31/43 Sniper Rifle with the desirable 2.8 power scope and brass/steel muzzle cap.
Description:
Standard configuration Swiss Bern K31/43 Military Sniper Rifle with sight gradations 1-7 and the far more desirable 2.8 power scope, this example made in 1943. Matching barrel, receiver, bolt, and magazine. Deep acceptance marking on stock. Combination brass/steel muzzle cap.
Condition:
VG+ original blue with thinning and sharp edge wear as one might expect from a military rifle that has seen relatively light-moderate use, especially as concerns the forward portion of the scope whose optics are slightly yellowed as typical for the 42/43 series of sniper rifles. Crisp recital consisting of pointed post with paired brackets, minimal movement with cursor. Stock with original varnish, scattered handling marks and light bruising as carefully photographed. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A scarce and matching rifle with a bright bore that is seldom offered for sale.
