The M1A owes its beginning with the M1 Garand and then passed through the M14 of the early 60s. This one appears fully loaded with all the mounting rails a shooter can use. The stock it is mounted into is a Springfield Archangel black synthetic with adjustments for comb and length of pull. Externally it looks like new, internally there is a little fouling from firing. .308 Winchester
