Condition: 
The overall condition of this Springfield M1A is very fine to excellent. The condition of the bore is bright and excellent with sharp rifling. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original Parkerized finish with a few minor handling marks and a touch of operational wear. The walnut stock and synthetic handguard are in near excellent condition with a few light handling marks and the stock is marked with a faux Defense Acceptance stamp, a ghostly circled ''P'', and features the M14 selector cut out. The metal markings are sharp and crisp. At this time Springfield Armory, Inc still regularly used USGI surplus military parts and the small parts are an assortment of surplus including TRW and HRA. The rifle retains the standard minute adjustable peep sight and blade front sight which function well. The single 20-round magazine is in good condition with some slight edge wear.
