Early Springfield M1A 7.62 X 51mm NATO NM

This is an early, (SN 002447 - 1982?) Springfield M1A. We have contacted Springfield to get more information on this rifle and have yet to get a response. Here's what we know about this rfle:

This rifle is in excellent condition inside and out. The wood is beautiful. It has on it mostly GI parts that we can confirm.
The barrel is stamped "NM" on top between the gas plug and front sight and is of the lighter profile. More coming. It is stamped Geneseo, Illinois underneath the barrel in front of gas plug. Some of our experts claim this is a Wilson barrel, but we cannot confirm or deny that. We do not find any manufacturing information in the handguard window on the ride side of barrel. Throat wear = 2.5.
It has a National Match flash hider along with bayonet lug. It has National Match rear and front sights.
As seen in pictures, it has a TRW bolt.
DOD Acceptance Stamp (cartouche) can be found on left side of buttstock near cheek rest. Buttstock has not been glass bedded.
We believe this to be a commercial trigger housing with GI parts.
Origial cleaning kit and accessories found inside buttstock.
GI Sling included.
Rifle will come with (2) M14 magazines, both marked with "BRW S-1".
Magazine pouch marked 1962.
Final 2 pictures show numbers within trigger housing.
