The Springfield Model 84C is a vintage .22 caliber bolt-action rifle produced by J. Stevens Arms Co. (Savage) from the 1930s to the 1960s. Known as a reliable, inexpensive \"plinking\" or beginner gun, it features a 24-inch barrel, walnut stock, and a 5 to 10-round detachable box magazine, shooting .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. This particular example is in fair condition with wear marks throughout especially on the wood surfaces.
