Springfield 1903 Mark 1 30-06 Rifle
Description:
A really historically and mechanically interesting Springfield 1903 Mark 1 rifle. The Mark 1 was only produced from 1918-1920 and were modified 1903s to work with the Pederson Device. The Pederson Device was a handgun in the shape of a 1903 bolt that would be inserted and loaded with 40 round magazines to increase the close range firepower of American troops. To accommodate the pistol rounds a small extraction port was cut out on the side of the receiver. Very interesting historical gun for a collector and would be really cool paired with a Pederson device if you managed to find one.
