UNUSUAL Springfield Armory 1903 SN 919594 with a barrel date of SA 4-31. This gun is super clean with about 92% finish, and has the 1903 rear sight. This 1903 was refinished, and up graded to WWII specs with a new finish, and still has the smooth steel butt-plate. Action is crisp like it should be .Bore is super clean, shiny, rifled, with strong rifling, and better than most.The American walnut stock looks clean with some minor handling dings, and has a military hand rubbed finish.The WWI Springfield guns should have .30-06 ammo loaded to .30-40 specs and pressure. Modern high powered ammo not good . these guns were built over 100 years ago! Comes with a green military fabric sling. We don’t have asite . I prefer money orders or a check.
