NSN, made in 1825, .69 caliber, 42"" round smooth bore barrel. Musket has been converted to percussion, barrel is a brown/grey patina with heavy pitting visible around the nipple. Lock is marked with ""EAGLE/US"" Rear of hammer is marked ""SPRING/FIELD/1825"" Stock has usage and handling wear visible with faint cartouches noted. Action holds at half and full cock. Consignment
