Springfield Spencer Military rifle (AL3739)

Description:

Springfield Spencer Military rifle. This gun is one of the 1100 or so guns made up by Springfield Armory in 1871. They used regular carbines and added the barrels stocks and gave them a more stable cut off. This gun has 50% of the original blue mixed with a plum colored patina. The frame still has much of the original case colors. Stocks are very good and the cartouche is sharp and legible. Bore is excellent!
