U.S. Springfield Model 1816 Type III Flintlock Musket. Musket is in overall great condition. Metal has a light gray patina. Lock is actually a mis-stamp on lock. (eagle head faces down). Barrel tang looks to be dated 1835. Stock shows handling and usage wear. Overall a great looking 1816!
