"WWII U.S. Springfield M1 Garand .30-06 (L2025-11422)

Description:
"Serial No. 3137066, manufactured September 1944. Chambered in .30-06 with a 24"" round barrel marked “3 S.A. 9-44". This correct mid-war M1 Garand features matching Springfield Armory components, including bolt “D28287-12SA/B3," heat lot “D28291 35," and uncut op-rod “D35382 9 SA." The trigger housing is marked “D28290-14-SA" with trigger “C46008-9." Rifle is equipped with a WWII Type II lock bar rear sight and unmarked front sight. The walnut stock retains a sharp “S.A./G.A.W." cartouche and Ordnance wheel, with internal trap. Finish is consistent and action is smooth and functions properly. Comes with a correct WWII leather sling. A handsome and correct example of a Springfield-produced Garand from late 1944.
