Springfield Armory M1 Garand, Receiver & Barrel manufactured 1944, SA Bolt, SA Trigger Group, SA OpRod in very nice condition for age. Bore is very good, see pictures, that is a 30-06 round in muzzle, Stock is solid, no cracks and has the SA Cartouche and P, so this is the original stock to this rifle I'm pretty sure. A true WWII Battle Rifle. This M1 was set-up by the Ordanance Department to launch Rifle Grenades and comes with everything needed to do so. (NOTE: Ordnace installed Sight mounting holes in left side of stock and proper gas plug). Does not interfere with normal firing. M15 site set, M7 Grenade Launcher, attaches quickly and easily on off, one Dummy M11 Grenade and 20 rounds of blank ammo. TA 9 Technical Manual Included, see picture. I have never launched one, from it, but have no doubt it would be a blast. Grenade is a dummy and can be used over as often as you want. Ebay, Sarco or Numrich have more for sale if you desire. Also included a USMC M1 carry case, The Marines used Grenade Launchers effectively in the fight against the Japanese during WWII, I wonder how many pacific Islands this M1 fought on, sling, buttstock cleaning kit w/oil bottle & grease pot. Fits in butt stock thru door in butt plate. Aso included is one bandoleer with 6 enbloc clips in correct cardboard sleeves loading with 48 rounds of M1 Ammo. Complete TA9 Technical Manual.
