"Fine U.S. Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle (AL5284)

"

This Model 1884 trapdoor rifle is in the condition that collectors love. The 32 5/8"" round 45 Government caliber (45-70) barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. It has approx. 96% blue with most of the loss on the buttplate. The breechblock has strong case colors. It is equipped with the standard Buffington rear sight which has a small dent on the left side of the leaf. The stock is fine with no cracks or chip, a strong SWP/1889 cartouche, and scattered issue dents and dings. The ramrod and swivels are present. The action functions correctly. This is a top-notch Model 1884 trapdoor.
