"U.S. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 (AL8131)

Serial No. 83410, made in 1878, .45-70, 32.5"" round proofed barrel with bluing starting to thin, beautiful case coloring is noted on the breech. Stock is in near excellent condition with a handsome cartouche dated 1877. Circle ""P"" and the initials ""J.C."" are visible rear of trigger guard. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling present.
