Serial No. 146390, made in 1881, .45-70, 22"" round proofed barrel. Barrel retains 90% original blue with the breech containing 95% case coloring. Bore has light frosting in the grooves with strong rifling remaining. Stock has very light wear visible, handsome 1880 dated cartouche noted. Action functions correctly, beautiful carbine!
