Beautiful U.S. Springfield Model 1884 trapdoor .45-70 caliber rifle. In excellent condition! Breech block has gorgeous case coloring. Barrel retains 98% original bluing. Bore is bright and shiny. Stock has a sharp and crisp cartouche dated 1890. This is a very fine example of a Springfield trapdoor.
