"Serial number 1267438. Made at Springfield Armory in 1925 with an October 1924 dated 24-inch star gauged SA barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Rifle has a smooth polished bolt that is not blued or Parkerized, the safety flag is reversed & the bolt is equipped with a knurled cocking piece. Condition overall is excellent with flawless original factory finish across the metallic parts. Rifle is equipped with an excellent condition USGI C-stock that is marked ""D.A.L."" for Daniel A. Leary, an inspector at Springfield at the time the rifle was made. There is also a circle non serif P cartouche on the pistol grip. The buttstock & handguard are matching in both color & condition. Comes with front & rear sight covers.
