THIS IS A VERY NICE UN-ALTERED HOFFER - THOMPSON U.S. MILITARY .22 TRAINER MADE IN 2ND YEAR OF PRODUCTION, 1908. IT RETAINS ABOUT 85% ORIGINAL BLUE OVERALL WITH EXCELLENT NO BOLT HIGH WOOD STOCK . IT IS CORRECT WITH OUT A " P" PROOF AND IT IS CORRECT WITH THE SERIFF " K " CARTUCHE , USED DURING THIS EARLY PERIOD. NO CRACKS , REPAIRS OR RE-FINISHING. BORE IS 5-6 / 10, TYPICAL FROST AND EROSION FROM .22 AMMO OF THAT PERIOD, BUT STILL A SHOOTABLE BORE. THIS IS A VERY NICE ALL ORIGINAL TEXTBOOK EXAMPLE. COMES WITH ONE 30-06 - .22 CONVERSION CARTIDGE.
