Description: Got a Springfield Armory 1903 Bolt Action Rifle 1932 Year of Manufacture 30-06 Caliber for sale. The last serial number of the firearm/receiver is covered. The build date was researched from an online list of Springfield 1903 Serial number and Manufacture dates. Do not see any markings or cartouche on the stock other than a 'K" in the half moon scallop where the bolt lock is. Guessing the stock is not original to the rifle. Someone who knows much more that me on the 1903 figures the stock is a Keystone WWII replacement same as the handguard. The same source of information says the rear sight is post WWI and could be original to the rifle. This is the best information we have on this piece. We tried to get pictures of every maker's mark, logo, stamp, cartouche and whatever we could find. Look closely at the pictures as what you see is what you get. This came from the estate of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store that is out of business. The estate was an avid collector of Garands and components. This is from the collection or was inventory. There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years. We are selling for the estate/store. This is NOT a liquidation. There are no lists and will be no lists.
