This offering is for a very good + condition SA reciever made in 1907 and apparently reblued at the SA during WWI for a rebuild that never came to pass. It comes with a matching, early 1918 straight-handle bolt body. marked on the bottom of the safety lug with the lot # C8. This receiver/bolt body assembly would make an excellent basis for a high quality restoration. Please be advised that this is a very early production, single heat-treatmed receiver and is not recommended for use in a shooter grade rifle. Please be advised that shooter safety is the sole responsibility of the buyer and that no warranty is available on any previously owned firearm. The buyer is strongly urged to have this item checked for safety and proper function by a licensed gunsmith prior to firing. Please examine the photos carefully and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. This item must be shipped to an FFL holder only (No C&R).
