Springfield M1903-A1, SN:1242926, SA 4-29 Barrel,

Description:
This appears to be a Springfield M1903-A1 service rifle. The Receiver serial number dates to approx.1922. Many of these early post war receivers were not built into rifles until much later. Sometime after April 1929 the barrel and receiver were assembled. The barrel and receiver have the original Black colored Parkerizing of the era. The barrel has a strong bore with moderate roughness resulting from the corrosive powder of the time. The bands and trigger guard have the same finish but the floor plate is the earlier high polished blue variety. The Buttplate is finely checkered, and the bolt is properly marked N.S. The “C” type stock and handguard are matching beautiful dark walnut. The stock has no inspectors or acceptance marks. At one time it had been used on a target rifle judging from the nicely repaired Lyman Sight cutout on the right side. This receiver has no drilled holes so clearly a swap was made. In my humble opinion an acceptable one, it’s a beautiful rifle.   
This is a nice addition to a U.S. Military collection. Cal. .30-06 with a 24” barrel.  SN: 1242926.  FFL or C&R REQUIRED

ALL Federal, State, & Local firearms laws will be followed.  I will take NO shortcuts in the process of a legal sale or transfer, so please don’t ask.
SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $60.00.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address. A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay. 
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
