This is one of those rifles and it exhibits many of the characteristics associated with the era. The upper band and the rear sight assembly are probably NOS WWI RIA production, and The butt stock is a late WWI production FG S-type made at the RIA, that comes with a matching late production, high-hump handguard from the same maker.
