This is a very nice used Springfield 1903 Sporter model for sale chambered in 30-06. The barrel length is 24 inches long which was intentionally made this way from the factory. The bore is in great condition. The finish on the metal is very good condition with some handling wear. The stock is in great shape with the exception of a modification near the wrist. The rear and front sights are Lyman. There is a replacement but plate with the name M.S. Lane. I emailed pictures and gun information to the Springfield Armory museum in Springfield, MA. They have confirmed it is a Sporter and I can provide emails if requested. Everything operates excellent. Please ask for more pictures if needed.
