"SN 348210. U.S. military rifle made in 1887. Standard 29.625"" infantry length barrel chambered for .45-70. Fair condition with mostly deep brown patina over cleaned rust and 10% of blue. Wood has approximately 50% finish with typical handling marks. Inspector cartouche either missing or not legible. Buttplate has been cleaned of scale. Bore is bright with good rifling. Ejector and lock function correctly. Includes cleaning rod. Austin location.
