"U.S. Springfield Model 1842 Percussion musket .69 caliber (AL9817)

"

NSN, made in 1849, .69 caliber, 42"" round smoothbore barrel. Musket has been cleaned some time ago, metal is a light grey patina. Barrel tang is dated 1847, lock plate is dated 1849. Stock is good with very light handling marks visible. Middle barrel band spring is broken, barrel band will slide over it. Action holds at half and full cock.
