NSN, made in 1871 by Springfield Armory, 50-70, 33""round barrel. Only 1011 of these rifles were manufactured. Barrel and receiver are a light grey patina with pin-prick surface oxidation noted. Bore is fair with areas of pitting noted in the rifling. Stock is in very good plus condition with light handling marks noted. Left side of receiver is stamped with Eagle/U.S/Springfield/1871
