"Serial No. 357396, made in 1887, .45-70, 32.5" round proofed barrels. Bore is bright with minimal areas of frosting noted in the grooves; rifling remains strong. Factory markings on barrel, breech and lock plate are sharp. Rifle has been refinished sometime ago. Faint cartouche is noted on the left side. Rifle comes with standard “U.S." marked bayonet and scabbard Action is smooth and functions correctly.
