Springfield 1873 .45-70 government 32 inch round barrel with ladder style rear sight, and replacement front blade. The action and barrel have faded to a dull gray finish with some nice patina, there is a few faded traces of case color in protected areas. The bore is nice and bright with some fouling. The stock and fore end have numerous dings, dents, and scratches which some are through the finish. The cartouche on the left hand side is still visible along with the circle p cartouche behind the lower tang.
