Springfield Model 1870 Trapdoor Rifle with Bayonet

Description:
.50-70, small number 4 where serial numbers usually are placed, 32 1/2 inch barrel, plum brown finish, in need of cleaning, walnut stock, no cartouches, 1863 stamped lock plate, missing cleaning rod, sight staff bent, correct bayonet, circa early 1870's.

Condition: very good bore needs cleaning, brown overall, very good wood, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
