For sale is one excellent condition 1884 Springfield Trapdoor in 45/70 caliber. Metal finish is a mix of original blue and brown patinea and is smooth and free of pitting other than the trigger guard. Wood is possibly refinished but is in great condition with no signifigant damage, splits, or cracks at all, only a few minor dents. Bore is very nice, bright with very good rifling and is a great shooter! Still has the stacking swivels and original cleaning rod. Has an 1879 buckhorn rear sight with taller front sight blade for a much better sight picture, looks and works great! Please examine pics and ask all needed questions. Will only require proof of being 21 years of age. Since this firearm is an antique, it therefore does not require an FFL. Will require a USPS money order or bank check for purchase. Sorry no CC.
