Rare and only 1000 of these 24” barrel carbines were made. The rear sight is marked with a XC on the leaf. The serial number is 340182, most are in the 325,000 to 400,000 serial number range. It has a compartment in the butt for its cleaning rod which its sections are 1” longer than standard. This one retains 40% thinning blue and 45% case colors. The bore is excellent bright and shiny and the mechanical function is very good crisp and sharp. All of the markings and numerals are sharp.
