Factory Korean War-era parts to include ""SA JLG"" buttstock, T105E1 rear sight assembly, radius cut op-rod, US2 SA bolt & a ""P O"" marked poppet valve gas cylinder lock screw. Rifle is in overall remarkable condition with original finish across all metal parts & no cracks in the wood although there is some handling wear & the number ""87"" has been applied as a rack number just forward of the magazine floorplate. Comes with M1943sling in Olive Drab shade 7. This is an overall magnificent example of a Cold War era M1 Garand service rifle & it would be hard to improve on it. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
