SN: 2663239. Made in February 1944 with a 24-inch March 1944-dated Springfield Armory barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. The bore is bright with strong rifling & the gun is equipped with a milled trigger guard, a Springfield trigger housing, the T105E1 adjustable rear sight assembly, a wide front sight base gas cylinder, & a radius cut Springfield Armory operating rod. Overall condition is very good with various shades of mismatched, dull phosphate across the metallic parts. The buttstock is in good shape with the kind of dings, dents & scratches that one expects to see on a military surplus rifle. The front & rear handguards do not match the stock in terms of color, but they do in terms of condition. Comes with a USGI M1943sling in olive drab shade #3.
