"Serial number 5930083. Made in 1956 with 24-inch ""National Match"" marked Springfield Armory barrel dated 1956 with a bright bore that has strong visible rifling. Comes with a glass bedded U.S. Defense Department Acceptance Stamp marked stock with circle serif P proof mark & the forward handguard is anchored to the rear handguard band. Equipped with a ""DRC"" marked T105E1 adjustable rear sight assembly & high hump gas cylinder lock screw. Comes with a leather M1907 sling, a 1952-dated M3A1 Combination Tool made by K. R. Wilson, Inc. of Arcade, New York & a February 2001-dated letter from CMP explaining that the rifle was sold through the DCM in 1958.
