The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The bolt is marked “D28287-12SA/S-06 (Diamond)," and the receiver is stamped “A<0/D 28291 35." The operating rod is cut and correctly marked “D35382 SA." The rifle is configured as an M1D sniper variant and is equipped with an M84 scope, serial no. 26450, retaining clear optics with a “T" reticle. The trigger assembly is properly Springfield Armory marked. The rifle is fitted with a brown leather cheek piece marked “MRT/2-52." The stock remains in very good condition, showing minimal handling impressions. The M1D represents a post-war sniper adaptation of the M1 Garand, widely used during the Korean War and beyond.
