Serial #1369714, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle was originally manufactured by Winchester in 1943, and was refurbished by CMP to Expert Grade prior to its sale in 2022. The rifle is in excellent condition as refurbished, and does not appear to have been used very much by the previous owner. Consequently, most of the metal retains practically all of the armory-reparkerized finish, except for a few tiny spots of silvering on some of the exposed edges and bearing surfaces. The new walnut stock set is in excellent condition with only a few very minor scratches and marks in the otherwise newly oil-finished wood. The rifle is housed in the CMP plastic case along with a single en bloc clip, and the original papers. This is a splendid CMP-sold, Winchester-made Garand, in excellent condition, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
