Original late WW2 issue bringback M1 Garand
Description:
Original bring back WW2 M1 Garand from the widow of the soldier. How he was able to get it home I couldn't tell you. Maybe in the mails? This is a late war Springfield, 3.4 mil serial number. Original barrel "in the white", dated 2/45. The widow said her husband served in the Pacific, but knew nothing more. This rifle is all correct for the period. The only arguable part is the milled trigger guard, but the color matches the receiver perfectly in tone and color, so? Proper, original and correct SA/GAW marked stock, with the large crossed cannons stamp, small crossed cannon stamp on the bottom of the pistol grip and serriffed P in a circle proof stamp. Lovely aged green tone to the receiver and trigger housing. Wide base gas cylinder with poppet screw and hard shoulder gas cylinder lock. Correct lock bar rear sight and narrow flare front sight. 18-SA trigger housing, 19SA bolt and uncut 9 SA oprod. Follower is a 12 and the rod has the long fork. Also comes with the original WW2 MILSCO model 1907 sling with steel hooks, in excellent original shape. Nothing in the butt trap. The look is totally "been there, done that" without any refinishing or restoration. Minimum shipping at this level is $55 and includes the hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment. These numbers are for shipping to the lower 48. There is also a 3% surcharge for customers using a credit card on internet sales. Thank you!
