• .308 Win,(7.62x51 Cal) 17 1/4” barrel
• T37-style flash hider 
• bright near excellent bore with a few scattered spots of very light oxidation.
• The metal surfaces retain about 97% maker applied parkerized finish with sparse light oxidation staining, light handling marks, previous light pitting beneath the finish, and a color difference where the receiver was professionally welded after being previously demilled.
• The custom side-folding paratrooper-style stock is in very good condition with a light fully repaired crack to the butt of the walnut forend below the receiver
• a few light handling marks, and a later added finish
• the Choate Machine & Tool side-folding stock is in very good condition with spots of light oxidation, showing some light handling marks.
• The receiver markings are very light save for the serial number which is crisp.
• The barrel is marked “S-A-1-51”
• The small parts appear to be a mix of U.S. surplus.
• The receiver  has been modified to accept M14 (M1A) magazines.
• Rifle is sighted with the standard M1 iron sights, with lockbar rear sight drums, features an unmarked clamp-on folding bipod with approximately 11” legs.
• Functions mechanically and is shootable.
