Manufactured in June 1945 at the historic Springfield Armory, this M1 Garand rifle was inspected by Norman F. Ramsey. The rifle features its original-design locking bar rear sight and the operating rod has not been modified by armorers to include the relief cut which was added post-WWII. Other part numbers also indicate that much of this rifle may include original parts. However, the spectacular appearance of the gun itself would mean the metal parts have likely been re-parkerized and the wood shows signs of small repairs in several areas. The barrel and bore are in good condition and the rifle overall operates smoothly. DOES NOT INCLUDE EN BLOC CLIPS OR CLEANING KIT. .30-06 Springfield
