Description: Springfield Armory M1D Garand, serial number 2787259 with USGI M84 scope and mount. Receiver dates to April 1944, barrel is dated January 1953 with a like new bore. This M1D came from CMP as a Service Grade M1D complete package, and has the CMP certificate of authenticity. Everything on this rifle is USGI. No import marks. This M1 D is in excellent used condition, appears unused since built as M1D, other than our test firing. Watch our video at our YouTube channel Fernwood Armory TV to see how this M1D shoots. Two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo), sling and accessories noted below are included. Specs: Receiver: marked “D 28291 32” on leg, heat lot Y03B<>. Excellent condition, no pitting. Finish (not original) shows very little wear. Barrel: marked “SA D7312555 1 53 MD34” in op rod slot, also marked “P” with small crossed cannons stamp. Bore is bright like new, rifling and crown excellent. External finish is in excellent condition.
