Springfield Armory US Rifle M1 Garand 30-06 Gov Semi 24" Barrel Very Good Bore Made 01/1944
Description: Springfield Armory M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The rifle features a 24-inch barrel, standard 8-round en-bloc clip capacity, and a military parkerized finish. It is built on a U.S. Government configuration receiver with a smooth walnut pistol-grip stock and matching handguard. The metal buttplate includes the original trap-door compartment for cleaning tools. The serial number 3302415 indicates production in November 1944. The barrel is marked Springfield Armory and dated February 1966. It gauges 1+ at the breech and 7 at the muzzle, with a bore described as very good, showing strong rifling and shine. The bolt is a Winchester Repeating Arms component, while the trigger assembly, hammer, operating rod, and barrel are Springfield Armory parts. A forged trigger guard is installed, and there is no noted pitting under the wood line. The rifle retains its military pattern rear aperture sight and front blade sight arrangement. This M1 Garand is used. Included features are the complete wood furniture set, metal buttplate with trap-door storage, and all listed Springfield and Winchester components. The rifle maintains its standard service configuration without mention of additional accessories or modifications.
