Springfield M1 Garand .30-06 WW2 1943 production nice original CMP certified.
Description:
For sale is a niceWW2 M1 Garand manufactured by Springfield in August of 1943. Serial number is 1810738. It has a USGI original stock with DOD acceptance eagles and arrows with P cartouche below the pistol grip. Wood is in good shape for its age but has dings and scratches. Hard to find gun with original USGI wood. The metal on the gun is good for its age. The trigger group does have a bit of pitting on the underside of the bottom plate, see pics. The barrel is a SA 6-55 date with a TE of 1 and ME of .5. Good bore should be a good shooter but I have not fired the gun. The op rod is a SA, bolt is a IHC(hard to find), and the trigger group is a IHC also hard to find. Like most all M1 Garands it has a mix of parts probably from a rebuild. It is in really good shape. It comes with a CMP certificate of authenticity with the purchasers name and date marked out for privacy. Also comes with a CMP M1 garand manual and 1 CMP clip. I will ship for actual cost probably around 50 dollars with insurance. I prefer not to ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Be sure your FFL will accept shipments from a non FFL. I will accept USPS money orders and other money orders. I cannot accept credit cards. If there are questions please ask. Sold ASIS but as required by Guns International you have 3 days to look at it which does NOT include firing it unless you ask me. I will work with anyone if there happens to be a problem. Remember this is a used 80+ year old gun. It is very nice! Price is negotiable but be reasonable please.
