We are proud to bring you this World War II Springfield M1 Garand infantry rifle chambered in 30-06. This rifle was manufactured in March of 1941 with a 6 digit serial number of 198589. It appears this rifle was rebuilt during the Korea era as there are parts from that time period. The Korea ear parts are the operation rod, hammer and gas cylinder plug. The rear sight is a T105 model and the front sight is an allen hex screw. The stock on this rifle is a new CMP replacement stock. The barrel is a Marlin barre that was made in the 1950s. The bore is bright and shinny with clean and crisp rifling. The markings are as follows. Receiver: D29291-3 SA Barrel: 6653544- Marlin on the top and P marked on the side Bolt: D28287-18 SA Operating Rod: 6535382 SA Trigger Housing: D28290-12 SA Hammer: 646008-5 SA Gas Cylinder Lock Screw: Poppet For questions please call Albert at (513)563-2781 during daytime work hours or (513)446-4311 in the evening.
