Up for sale we have a beautiful Springfield M1 Garand in 30-06 caliber. This rifle was produced in November of 1940 prior to the US entering WWII. This can be confirmed by looking up the serial number starting with 981XX. This rifle is in good condition maintaining all of the original finish. The barrel is 24 inches long with a mint bore and the original sights. The stock has two arsenal rack numbers on it, 58 on the rear of the stock and 219 on the upper forearm. Barrel is dated 1951 so likely reworked for the Korean war. The action is smooth and functions as it should. The triggerpull is crisp and breaks easily. Bore is mint. The DAS proof on the stock was taken off for some reason but the P proof is still on the wrist. The stock has a few minor dings and dents. besides that it has a nice finish and is in good condition. Shipping is 60$.
