Barrel is after war replacement.  That is a surplus M1 round in muzzle.Operates smoothly and stock is solid no cracks. Make a great shooter and addition to your collection.  Comes withSling, M1 Carry Case, after market Bayonet & Scabbard, Cleaning kit with Oiler & Grease Pot, (fit in buttstock), and chaamer & bore brush, and M1 Tech Manual.  I am 82, a US Army Veteran and selling my collection, see other listings on this site.
